WaterLoop is a connected solution for managing and monitoring rainwater use. The system combines IoT sensors and an app to surface information for both residential users and the technical staff in charge of maintenance.

The starting problem was a lack of visibility: a leak, an unusual consumption spike, or a badly scheduled irrigation cycle could go unnoticed for weeks. The residential experience was designed to surface the system's status the moment something happens, showing tank level, consumption by zone, and shifts in consumption behavior.

The project was developed as a team, with shared research I took part in. Within that split I took on two pieces: the visual identity and the residential flow, end to end.

The name was already settled: WaterLoop, water that comes in, gets used, and goes round again. I designed the mark from it. I wanted it to read as a drop in motion: a blob, organic, without a single straight line or corner in it. It went through a shape exploration, a droplet sketch, a full wordmark and several typographic tests before arriving at the final monogram.

On the product side I carried the residential flow from low-fidelity wireframes through to the final high-fidelity screens: the dashboard, tank monitoring, the consumption breakdown by zone, and savings tracking.

The goal was to turn the system's technical data into clear, useful information, so users could understand what was happening with their water consumption and catch anomalies before they became a bigger problem.
